Role: Cyber Security /Network Administrator

Job Description:

As a Cyber Security Analyst/Network Administrator , you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients’ networks, systems, and data against potential threats and vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures, monitoring network activity, and responding to security incidents in a timely manner. Additionally, you will work closely with clients to assess their security needs, develop customized solutions, and provide ongoing support and guidance.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect networks, systems, and data.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.

Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and investigate potential security breaches.

Respond to security incidents promptly, mitigating risks and minimizing impact.

Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and develop customized solutions.

Provide technical support and guidance to clients on security best practices and compliance requirements.

Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats, trends, and technologies to continually improve security practices.

Document security procedures, configurations, and incidents for reference and compliance purposes.

Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration, preferably in an IT services provider company.

Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.

Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, etc.

Experience with risk assessment methodologies and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CompTIA Security+, etc., are a plus.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
