Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Cloud Migration, Cloud to Cloud operations, and Transformation & Transition projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and leading complex cloud migration strategies, modernizing IT infrastructure, and enabling seamless cloud adoption processes. This role will work closely with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to deliver optimized cloud solutions that align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1.) Lead and design large-scale Azure cloud migration projects, including on-premises to cloud, cloud-to-cloud, and hybrid migrations, Rehosting, Replatforming, Refactoring / Rearchitecting & Retaining.
2.) Architect transition and transformation plans for moving workloads from legacy infrastructure to the Azure cloud platform, ensuring minimal disruption and high performance.
3.) Design and implement robust cloud architectures, including compute, storage, networking, security, and governance strategies.
4.) Lead assessments of existing IT environments and create migration roadmaps tailored to business needs and technical requirements.
5.) Ensure scalability, reliability, and security across cloud platforms while driving cost efficiency.
6.) Collaborate with development and operations teams to build DevOps pipelines, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC) strategies.
7.) Engage with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable cloud solutions.
8.) Manage and oversee the implementation of cloud services, including containerization (Kubernetes/ Docker), serverless computing, and microservices architecture.
9.) Provide technical leadership in the migration of complex application workloads from on-premises and other cloud providers to Azure.
10.) Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for cloud migration activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
> 8+ years of IT experience, with at least minimum 5 years working on cloud migration or transition projects.
> Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies and automation tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOpsEngineer, or other related certifications.
